FINALS WEEK -> OVER. :DDD

WORLD. :D

FINALS is over. YEAH!. :D

I really didn't study hard, I just scanned through my notes and that's just it. :D Next friday would be our Garland Ceremony and I'm quite excited for it. Last Wednesday, I bought a new pair of shoes which costs PHP1500 (I borrowed PHP300 from Inday because my money wasn't enough: I used up all my savings. T_T) I have a picture of the shoes in my cam but my usb cord is broken.

Bye, :D

Dilemma Part 2: Gone.

Hello, World. :D

Here's the MV of the week. :D It's been 9 years since the release of Dilemma. I believe it
was released when I was still in my second year in high school. Nelly changed. :DD I love it. :D

You could really see that both of them changed. From Dilemma's 'street hood' feel to this so-called sophisticated vibe. :D Nelly is so freaking hot and Kelly looks prettier now than before. :D

Bye, World. :D hafta study. <3

Dear You.

World, I'm sorry but this post isn't meant for you, it's for this certain guy that I've been chasing for three years.

Dear You,

Uy. I liked you for three years na, why can't you see it? I was happy when you and chuva broke up, I thought I had a chance to replace her pero many people told me na you two are really meant for each other, na hindrance raku; na i'm better off as a friend rather than as a chuva.

I tried bya, na wa nagparamdam. pero no matter how hard I try not to text you, maka text jud ku. You're like a stupid magnet. CHOS!

Anyways, kbw ku na you see me as a FRIEND ra and nothing more pero sumtyms, I wish na you'll look at me or even just for a moment na maka think ka na i'm more than that.

If only you could stop looking straight ahead then you would see me at the side, trying to catch your attention; praying na one of these days na you would notice me.

Honestly, naay times na I wish na wa ta nagkafriends cause at least if stranger ra ka for me then I wouldn't be like this. I closed bya myself, I dint like other guys cause I was waiting for you.

I want to be P'nam. I want to tell you all these pero I don't think that I have the guts and I'm freaking afraid of the outcome.

Ambut uy. BASTA! http://debbiekyamko.tumblr.com <--browse nanhi. most of my posts are about you.

Which One Are You?

Hello, World. :D

Here's the list:
  1. People who think that I act like I know everything: I know that there are times wherein I tend to know a lot about stuff and sometimes people misinterpret it as a know-it-all attitude when in fact I really know what I am saying. They should read more because for sure they will act the same way.
  2.  The Copy Cats:  Whatever. I am trying my hardest to be different and here they are copying everything: even the way that I text, they way that I speak, the way that I act. I think I should love these people instead of hating' them 'cause this just proves that I am FAMOUS (KIDDING!!!)
  3. The Great Pretenders: Why can't you just be yourself? Why can't you just say whatever you want to say? Why can't you act like you normally do? Is there really a need to pretend?
  4. The Princesses: Hey, B*TCH! You ain't a princess. You don't have a castle and Cebu isn't your kingdom. Stop ordering us around like we're your servants. You have a hand: two in fact, why won't you use them? B*TCH.
  5. The Religious Snake: Yo! You always go to church. I can't deny the fact that you are a religious person: the way you pray and the way you gossip are similar. HA! You might as well burn in hell. Grabe mo teh! Kung makalibak ka mura man sad ka'g nag pray ug rosary. Sure jud ka na naa kay fear ni God? 'Cause the way I see it when you gossip, mura ma'g wala.
  6. The Fakes: Need I say more?
  7. The Yes Man: You always say yes and yet in the back of your mind, you want to say No. You're playing it safe, dude. You'll got nothing from it. :D
  8. The Eavesdropper: "Pa simple-simple lang pero nakikinig na pala!" When you talk, make sure that this this person is not beside you.
  9. The Neurotransmitter: This person listens to you intently and transmit the messages to whomever she sees. BEWARE again. :D
  10. The User-Friendly: The friend user.
  11. The Rich: Yea, you got money. We know that fact but is there really a need to tell everyone about it?
  12. The Egotistic: You got a huge ego; such a huge ego.
  13. The Irresponsible-sons-of-Voldemort: You suck! Urgh.

To be continued; updated na, world. :D

Bye, World. :DD

EUTHANASIA: My Stand

Hello, World.

So, we were tasked to make articles and video presentations for the following:

1. Nursing Trends
2. Case Presentation
3. Nursing Issues
4. Nursing Procedures

As one of the people behind the mag that we were making, it's my responsibility to facilitate each writer of the groups who were assigned with different topics about their articles.

I was asked to make a little introduction about Euthanasia even though I'm not really good in English. HAHAHA

Euthanasia or commonly known as Mercy Killing is against the Lord’s and the government’s law. In a country like the Philippines, where Christians are the major inhabitants, mercy killing is a taboo; even in this modern day and age it is still considered as one. As future nurses, we should all keep in mind that Euthanasia is and will always be MURDER even if it will be legalized in the future. According to Mr. Tanola, a clinical instructor in Cebu Doctors’ University—College of Nursing, that even though there is mercy in mercy killing, it is still murder. We all know that Euthanasia can alleviate a person from the pain that he or she is suffering but that doesn’t mean that taking that person’s life is right. Yes, patients can benefit from it but it is against societal norms, God’s scripture and the fact that we are bound by the Philippine Law make Euthanasia wrong. We all have been living in a conservative society where we’ve been taught about the difference between what is right and what is wrong; and one of them is about killing someone/taking someone else’s life. It has never been right thus it has been always wrong.

No matter what names you call it, whatever benefits a patient can get from it; as what I’ve said earlier, it is MURDER and will always be considered as one.

KBYE, WORLD. :D

NURSING STUDENT: A SLEEK GEEK

 GEEK
n.
     - an earnest student; a hardworking student

SLEEK
adj. sleek·er, sleek·est
     - well - groomed and neatly tailored

Being called a geek has been known to be an insult. It has been a stereotype in our generation; geeks had been bullied, laughed at, and well, insulted. There had been many cases wherein geeks killed themselves because they’ve had enough of the insults that were thrown to them everyday in school. A geek may be hated but it has been proven that most geeks are now the bosses of those who bullied them in school.

A geek, as defined, is a hardworking/earnest student. So, for us nursing students, it’s just okay for us to be called geeks because all of us are hardworking students; hardworking in a way that we drown our faces in our colored notebooks just to pass the 80 % passing mark.

A nursing student of Cebu Doctors’ University is a sleek geek: we are well – groomed hardworking students. It has been a rule set by the college that our guys need to cut their hair short and for the girls to tie their hair properly or put in a bun. We were taught by the college to wear our uniform properly and with grace. Thus, we, the nursing students of Cebu Doctors’ University are SLEEK GEEKS.

Our class, BSN3H, has been known to be one of the noisiest sections ever but we are also known to be the class where the versatile SBO vice president, Mr. Ramon Matthew Basabe, and the batch’s RLE Top 1: Ms. Mariel Jaen Paler, belong.

“Nursing is an art:  and if it is to be made an art, it requires an exclusive devotion as hard a preparation, as any painter's or sculptor's work; for what is the having to do with dead canvas or dead marble, compared with having to do with the living body, the temple of God's spirit?  It is one of the Fine Arts:  I had almost said the finest of Fine Arts.”  ~Florence Nightingale
